Games for Actors and Non-actors
Agusto Boal
Routleg Publishers

In this book Augusto Boal describes more than a hundred games, as part of his 'arsenal' of his Theater of the Oppressed . These exercises in general valuable for anyone interested in dramatic expression and performance techniques.

The book, originally written in Portugese, is a translation of two separate books. In the first part of the book Boal describes his Theater of the Oppressed , and in the second part the games and exercises used by Theater of the Oppressed are outlined.

Although not a book about Improv t is still a must-have for anyone interested in Improv or Interactive Acting . Even if you are not particularly interested in Theater of the Oppressed, the sheer volume of games described is an absolute wealth. Recommended!
